Our client is the team behind Metalstorm, focused on expanding the reach of its mobile gaming content across global ad networks through high-performing creative video production. Operating within a fast-evolving mobile gaming industry, they are seeking a creative professional who can combine advanced editing techniques, AI-assisted workflows, and strong storytelling to produce engaging ad content for worldwide audiences.
Fully Remote | 9 AM - 5 PM EST
The Video Editor will create high-quality video advertisements that combine game footage, AI-generated media, motion graphics, voiceovers, captions, and sound design to support mobile game growth across digital advertising platforms. This role requires strong post-production expertise, creative ownership, and close collaboration with the Creative Production Team to develop both short- and long-form content optimized for performance.
Produce high-quality video ads from concept to final delivery based on stakeholder briefs.
Capture and assemble footage while applying creative editing techniques across multiple video styles.
Incorporate game footage, AI-generated media, transitions, motion graphics, captions, color grading, and sound mixing.
Proactively introduce creative ideas that strengthen final deliverables.
Leverage AI tools to generate images, videos, and voiceovers during production.
Use AI-assisted workflows to localize ad content for non-English markets.
Build and improve AI-supported workflows to enhance production impact and efficiency.
Add captions, motion graphics, and animations to improve engagement and click-through rates.
Create cutdowns and resize videos to ensure compatibility across ad networks including YouTube, Meta Platforms, and TikTok.
Collaborate with the Creative Production Team to identify high-performing video concepts for iteration.
Learn and use proprietary game match replay software to capture 4K in-game footage.
Stay updated on trends, techniques, and tools used by successful competitors in video production.
Coordinate upcoming creative priorities with internal production stakeholders.
Proven experience producing video ad creative for mobile games, apps, or performance marketing campaigns.
Experience creating content for video games, sports, or similar content categories.
Proven experience working effectively as a remote team member.
Strong proficiency with editing software, including Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe After Effects, and Adobe Photoshop.
Familiarity and practical experimentation with AI content-generation tools.
Experience formatting and resizing videos for multiple digital platforms.
Working knowledge of ad creative metrics such as hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, and CPI.
Strong attention to detail, multitasking ability, and self-direction in fast-paced environments.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Fluency in Japanese, Korean, or Turkish is a plus.
Interest in gaming is considered an advantage.
