Specialist (Network & Security)

 ●Architect and implement comprehensive, layered security solutions to safeguard
the organization's on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure, including
networks, servers, applications, and data
● Conduct thorough risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and penetration
testing to identify and mitigate security risks
● Configure, manage, and optimize security tools and technologies, such as
firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), security information
and event management (SIEM) systems, and identity and access management
(IAM) solutions
● Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure
compliance with industry regulations and best practices
● Investigate and respond to security incidents, analyze logs and telemetry data,
and implement remediation strategies to minimize the impact of security
breaches
● Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, development, and
business stakeholders, to align security initiatives with organizational goals and
objectives
● Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies, and
recommend and implement security enhancements to keep the organization's
security posture strong
● Mentor and train junior security engineers and professionals to develop their
skills and expertise
● Participate in the development and implementation of the organization's overall
cybersecurity strategy
