Software Quality Assurance Specialist

To ensure the quality, functionality, and performance of software products by developing and executing test plans, identifying bugs, and verifying that applications meet business and technical requirements. The SQA Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining product reliability and user satisfaction.

• Review software requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.
• Develop and execute manual and automated test cases to ensure software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects using issue tracking systems (e.g., JIRA, Bugzilla).
• Conduct functional, regression, integration, performance, and usability testing.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and product managers to resolve issues and improve product quality.
• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using testing frameworks and tools (e.g., Selenium, Postman, TestNG).
• Participate in Agile/Scrum processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and maintain test documentation, including test plans, test cases, and test reports.
• Ensure compliance with industry quality standards and best practices (e.g., ISO, ISTQB).
• Continuously improve QA processes and contribute to the development of quality metrics and KPIs.
