Job description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead daily operations across production, maintenance, and warehouse functions.
Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and manufacturing efficiency.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards in all operational areas.
Oversee production planning and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resource utilization.
Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, quality, engineering, and HR.
Monitor operational KPIs (OEE, yield, waste, downtime) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
Manage budgets, operational costs, and CAPEX related to the plant.
Lead and mentor plant managers and functional heads to achieve high-performance standards.
Support innovation in product handling, process automation, and production line efficiency.
Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; postgraduate studies are a plus.
15+ years of experience in food or snacks manufacturing, with at least 5 years in an operations leadership role.
Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
Proven experience in managing large manufacturing facilities or multiple production lines.
Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g.,
SAP
is a strong advantage).
Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
Fluency in English and Arabic.
