Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead daily operations across production, maintenance, and warehouse functions.
  • Develop and implement operational strategies that support business growth and manufacturing efficiency.
  • Ensure adherence to health, safety, and quality standards in all operational areas.
  • Oversee production planning and ensure on-time delivery while optimizing resource utilization.
  • Drive lean manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain, quality, engineering, and HR.
  • Monitor operational KPIs (OEE, yield, waste, downtime) and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Manage budgets, operational costs, and CAPEX related to the plant.
  • Lead and mentor plant managers and functional heads to achieve high-performance standards.
  • Support innovation in product handling, process automation, and production line efficiency.

Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Management, or a related field; postgraduate studies are a plus.
  • 15+ years of experience in food or snacks manufacturing, with at least 5 years in an operations leadership role.
  • Strong knowledge of food production processes, quality systems, and regulatory compliance.
  • Proven experience in managing large manufacturing facilities or multiple production lines.
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing, TPM, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP is a strong advantage).
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English and Arabic.
