About the job Marketing Director

As part of our strategic growth as a leading multinational translation and localization company, we are seeking an experienced and visionary Marketing Director to lead our global marketing function. This role is responsible for defining and executing marketing strategies that strengthen our brand positioning, drive lead generation, and expand our presence across international markets. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of B2B marketing within the language services industry and a passion for innovation, collaboration, and measurable impact.


Strategic Leadership


  • Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that aligns with the companys business goals and revenue targets.
  • Drive market expansion by identifying and penetrating new geographic and industry segments.
  • Set and own revenue targets linked to marketing campaigns, partnerships, and lead generation efforts.
  • Analyze market trends, client behavior, and competitive positioning to inform marketing decisions.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global marketing team, setting objectives and managing performance.

Brand Management & Thought Leadership


  • Position the company as a trusted leader in translation, localization, and language technology services.
  • Drive initiatives that enhance brand visibility, credibility, and engagement in key target markets.
  • Lead the creation of thought leadership content, such as case studies and industry reports.

Digital Marketing & Demand Generation


  • Oversee all digital marketing channels (SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, content marketing, website).
  • Design and manage integrated marketing campaigns to attract new clients and expand existing relationships.
  • Utilize marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) to optimize funnel performance.

Market Expansion & Revenue Contribution


  • Identify untapped markets and design tailored go-to-market strategies.
  • Partner with Sales and Business Development to support revenue growth through pipeline contribution.
  • Monitor marketing-driven revenue and optimize efforts for better conversion.

Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support


  • Partner with Sales & Account Management to ensure alignment on lead generation and client messaging.
  • Work closely with the Product team to support the launch of new services.
  • Support internal communication efforts that promote our brand culture across all regions.

Event Management & Public Relations


  • Represent the company in global industry events, conferences, and exhibitions.

Manage speaking engagements, sponsorships, media partnerships, and public relations campaigns.


Job Specifications:


  • MBA in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • DBA is preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing leadership roles, preferably in B2B services and SaaS.
  • Proven track record in leading global marketing strategies and achieving measurable results.
  • Strong understanding of the localization industry, translation technology, and global content trends.
  • Experience managing international teams and working in a matrixed, multicultural environment. (Asia, Africa & ME)
  • Fluent English
