The Logistics Coordinator – Bulk Commodities is responsible for managing the end-to-end logistics operations for bulk materials, ensuring efficient transportation, storage, and delivery while maintaining cost control, safety, and compliance with regulations.



Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and monitor the transportation of bulk commodities (e.g., cement, grain, chemicals, petroleum products).
  • Plan and schedule shipments to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Liaise with suppliers, transporters, warehouses, and customers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Track shipments and provide real-time updates on delivery status.
  • Ensure proper documentation for all logistics activities (delivery notes, invoices, permits, etc.).
  • Monitor logistics KPIs such as delivery timelines, transportation costs, and service levels.
  • Optimize routes and transportation methods to improve efficiency and reduce costs.

  • Handle logistics issues, delays, and claims in a timely manner.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of experience in logistics or transportation, preferably in bulk commodities.
  • Experience in industries such as oil & gas, construction materials, agriculture, or chemicals is a plus.
