Today, we are recruiting for a Interface & Integration Engineer to join our team in Egypt. Identify and manage internal and external interfaces between railway systems, civil infrastructure, contractors, consultants, and third parties. Develop, maintain, and update Interface Registers, Interface Matrices, Interface Control Forms (ICFs), Interface Control Documents (ICDs), and other interface management documentation. Define and coordinate interface responsibilities across project stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Track interface requirements and actions from identification through to resolution, escalating critical issues when required. Ensure interface requirements are accurately reflected in design documents, drawings, specifications, and method statements. Coordinate multidisciplinary interfaces across Signaling, Railway Electrification (REL), Telecommunications, SCADA, Automatic Fare Collection (AFC), MEP, and Civil Works. Manage interface requirements using DOORS and allocate requirements across the relevant project subsystems. Verify consistency between interface points, technical drawings, specifications, and system architecture documentation. Review design submissions and support customer approval processes while ensuring system requirements are correctly allocated across engineering disciplines. Support technical coordination meetings and collaborate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, operators, maintainers, and local authorities to ensure successful system integration. Contribute to the integration of railway systems, including Signaling, GSM-R, Low Voltage (LV) Power, and SCADA systems. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Building Infrastructure, or a related discipline. 3–5 years of experience in railway interface and system integration, particularly within Signaling and GSM-R projects. Hands-on experience with DOORS and ACONEX is mandatory. Strong understanding of multidisciplinary railway interfaces and systems integration principles. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Experience using engineering software such as AutoCAD and Visio. Excellent coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work effectively in international and multicultural teams. Proactive, self-motivated, and collaborative with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Fluency in both written and spoken English and Arabic. What else do I need to know?
