Cost Control Engineer Work In Saudi Arabia

To monitor and control project costs, ensuring that construction or engineering projects are completed within the approved budget and in line with financial and contractual requirements. The Cost Control Engineer is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cost analysis, and financial reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

• Develop and maintain the project cost baseline (budget) in coordination with planning and finance teams.
• Prepare detailed cost breakdowns, cash flow forecasts, and cost plans.
• Monitor and control actual costs vs. budgeted costs on a regular basis.
• Track all commitments, expenditures, variations, and change orders.
• Evaluate cost impact of project changes and support value engineering efforts.
• Coordinate with procurement to verify supplier/subcontractor invoices and payment claims.
• Generate weekly and monthly cost reports and present cost performance metrics (e.g., CPI).
• Identify and report cost overruns, risks, and deviations from the budget.
• Support project scheduling and assist in integrating cost and schedule performance data.
• Assist with preparation of project financial forecasts, cost-to-complete (CTC), and cost-at-completion (CAC).
• Support in the preparation of final accounts and project closeout documents.
• Ensure alignment with company policies, project contract terms, and audit requirements.
