Today, we are recruiting for Civil Interface Engineer to join our team in Egypt. This is an excellent career opportunity for professionals looking to join a truly international team in one of the biggest projects of Siemens Mobility. What are my responsibilities? Prepare civil and architectural design drawings in line with project requirements, standards, and applicable codes. Develop installation drawings for track elements and coordinate activities related to wayside and railway infrastructure. Review, check, and align shop drawings to ensure proper interface and integration between internal systems (power supply, signaling, and telecommunications). Coordinate technical interfaces across multiple engineering disciplines to ensure seamless design integration. Review architectural and structural design packages related to foundations, buildings, and railway structures. Elaborate conceptual design solutions and address complex technical requirements based on site-specific conditions. Coordinate with internal teams, offshore engineering teams, vendors, subcontractors, and clients to support smooth project execution. Participate in and support the leadership of technical meetings with subcontractors and relevant stakeholders. Support the procurement process by providing technical input, specifications, and design-related documentation for equipment and materials. Coordinate with customers and consultants to secure timely design reviews and approvals. Perform site surveys to assess existing site conditions, identify constraints or obstacles, and propose appropriate technical solutions. Provide technical support by analyzing design and construction-related issues and responding to technical queries in coordination with installation teams, project engineering, and project management. Ensure the timely delivery of complete, accurate, and compliant design and as-built drawings in accordance with project standards and contractual requirements. What do I need to qualify for this job? Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering. Has experience in technical coordination and problem-solving skills. Communication and teamwork in a multicultural and multidisciplinary project environment. Ability to manage multiple interfaces and priorities under project timelines. Previous experience in the railway or transportation sector is an advantage. Manage time efficiently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines consistently. Communicate fluently in English, both written and spoken. What else do I need to know?
