The Coordinator for Application Handbooks drives the compilation of application handbooks and related documents. This is achieved by defining the technical basis and tool infrastructure necessary for creating and documenting these handbooks. As the central point of contact, this role fosters a strong community, collaborating and providing the information required. Furthermore, this role ensures a continuous improvement process for the regular updates and maintenance of the documentation in accordance with customer needs and technical changes. Your new role – challenging and future-oriented: • Responsible for the compilation and creation of application handbooks, as well as related documents. Interacts with all relevant stakeholders to gather the required information. Ensures the use of sufficient and efficient tools that fit into the overall tool landscape. Acts as the technical author for the information provided and collected from various disciplines. • Create application handbooks for all agreed large gas turbine frames and/or reference power plants. • Build a community and network with all contributing disciplines. • Update the handbooks according to process needs (e.g., based on technical changes due to cost model updates). • Align with sales, bid management, and other stakeholders on the content and depth of information presented in the handbooks. • Ensure the use of appropriate tools for documenting the application handbooks. Ensure alignment of layout and information with corporate guidelines and requirements. • Define a platform for the communication and sharing of the handbooks with internal and external customers. • Define additional documentation and formats where applicable (e.g., construction visualizations). • The role is responsible for the quality, technical integrity, and consistency of the application handbooks and related documents. We don’t need superheroes, just super minds: • At least 5 years of experience in a (preferable technical) discipline related to power plant business (engineering, sales, project management). • General knowledge of the Customer Relationship Management process and Product Development Process as well as Customer Order Engineering. • Generic knowledge of addressing different disciplines and motivating them to collaborate and contribute. Showing a self-driven and self-motivated working attitude. • Management of international contacts and intercultural teams; strong communication skills • Successful completion of studies (Bachelor, Master's degree) or similar educational qualification (vocational or academic) in engineering.
