Job description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the flow of goods from suppliers to warehouses and retail outlets.
  • Monitor inventory levels and reorder supplies to prevent stockouts or overstocking.
  • Work closely with procurement, logistics, and store teams to align supply chain operations with sales and promotional plans.
  • Track and manage deliveries, ensuring products arrive on time and in full.
  • Liaise with suppliers and vendors to confirm order status and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and supply chain data.
  • Analyze sales and stock reports to forecast demand and optimize replenishment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, especially for perishable and FMCG products.
  • Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
  • Suggest process improvements to reduce costs and improve efficiency.


Skills

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a supply chain or inventory coordination role, preferably in supermarkets or retail environments.
  • Strong understanding of retail supply chain processes, including sourcing, inventory control, and logistics.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with inventory or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Preferred Skills:

  • Familiarity with perishables and FMCG handling.
  • Knowledge of demand forecasting and inventory planning.
  • Experience working with multi-location retail operations.
