This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer with a proven track record as Project Engineer on major Oil and Gas projects in the middle east.

The key objectives for this role are: 


  • This role is primarily focused on project coordination, integration oversight, and stakeholder management rather than detailed system design.
  • The role requires prior hands-on involvement in delivering end-to-end dispatching system implementation (gas, energy, pipeline, or similar real-time operational control systems), including coordination with multiple vendors, control/IT/OT systems, and operations teams.

Responsibilities:

Project Delivery & Execution


  • Coordinate the full project lifecycle: FEED → detailed engineering → procurement → implementation → commissioning → handover
  • Coordinate to deliver functional modules for gas dispatching system including real‑time monitoring, nomination management, demand forecasting, priority‑based allocation, curtailment logic, LNG scheduling, and GIS/pipeline surveillance

Internal Stakeholder Management


  • Coordinate with internal teams: Operations, Gas Planning, Midstream Gas, LNG Import, Instrumentation, IT/OT, Project Services
  • Align project requirements with operational needs and owner department expectations
  • Facilitate cross‑discipline reviews and technical approvals

Vendor & EPC Coordination


  • Manage vendors, dispatch system suppliers, and EPC teams executing gas dispatching upgrades
  • Drive interface management, technical clarifications, system architecture reviews, and integration testing

Quality, Compliance & Risk


  • Ensure compliance with OT cybersecurity requirements and engineering standards
  • Identify project risks and implement mitigation strategies in line with GDN project challenges

Systems Integration Coordination


  • Coordinate and oversee system integration activities in consultation with relevant technical teams
  •  Coordinate in consultation with company IT/Business application team to validate cybersecurity, data integrity, and system reliability
  • Coordinate with all technical support teams to arrange approvals of system workflows, and data mapping as per project needs

Qualifications & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Process, Electrical, Electronics, Industrial Engineering, Telecommunication, Instrumentation, Automation, Mechanical/Piping Engineering or equivalent
  • 8 to 10 years’ experience in project management and coordination. 
  • Experience in handling gas dispatching system project will be an advantage including proven execution of gas or energy dispatching systems
  • Candidates must have previously worked on at least one gas dispatching system platforms through configuration, system integration, testing, commissioning, and handover to operations
  • Proven experience delivering large multi‑vendor, multidiscipline complex projects
  • Strong technical coordination and stakeholder management skills.
