* To ensure all work activities as instructed by the direct supervisor are carried out with due care and
attention, cooperation and constructive spirit in accordance with industry good practice, customer
specification and/or project deliverables, in line with the Relay’s processes, procedures and HSEQ
requirements when requested to do so.
* Main Activities of General Administrator as listed below are to be performed in accordance with
acceptable industrial and engineering standards:
** Administer and manage the applicable software (Business Central) not limited to updates of
quotation in the system, budgets, revenues, customer orders, purchase orders, warehouse picking
until goods receiving including any relevant supporting documentation associated with the process.
Ensure that all relevant registers are updated in line with the system.
** Provide assistance as required for the bids & proposals, Procurement, Logistics, HSEQ and any
project works.
** Receives and process customer enquiries in line with the company procedures on Tenders, Enquiries
and Responses to customers.
** Plan daily, weekly and periodic activities directing workload as necessary to maximize effective
utilization of handled tasks or projects.
** Provide plan of activities and advise solutions to problems encountered.
** Coordinate and update management and customers ensuring that the tasks are being performed
in accordance with the customer specifications and company processes and procedures.
** Coordinate with Bids and Proposals Engineer, Operations Manager, Project Engineers and
Supervisors and assist with the preparation of the necessary documentations as required for the
Project, Vendor Coordination, Bids (i.e. Shipping Documentations, Project Documentations, etc.)
** Ensure the tasks are performed and delivered within project timescales
** Ensure that all relevant customer and Relay documentations are prepared, recorded and saved in
the appropriate folders.
** Provide daily and weekly report to the direct supervisor for all the job updates and schedule of the
project.
* The Company reserves the right to vary those duties and may require you to perform any additional
reasonable tasks as and when instructed / required to do so at its sole discretion, with due regard to
your individual capability, training and health and safety considerations.
Plus other duties as may be reasonably required of you by the management or Senior Management
of the Company. You should be aware that you may be called upon, from time to time, to act in a
capacity outside your normal duties, e.g. in cases of absence, sickness or holidays of other members
of staff
Qualifications:
With Diploma or Trade Certification but Preferred Bachelor of Science in Electrical/Instrumentation
Engineering
Knowledge:
Preferred knowledge and experience in marine vessels, jack-up drilling rigs and shipyard projects.
Skills & Competencies
Fluent English (Verbal and Written),
Preferred with driving license in GCC Countries
Proficient in MS Office Skills (MS Word, Excel, Outlook)
