Job description

Overview of the role

 

The Operations Specialist plays a key role in supporting daily store operations, including inventory management, shipment handling, and ensuring the organization of the back-of-house (BOH) area. This position involves assisting with the completion of replenishment tasks, gap scans, cyclic counts, and monitoring store-to-store transfers. The Operations Specialist ensures smooth and efficient store operations, helping to maintain safety standards and assist with the continuous improvement of operational processes.

 

 

What you will do: -

Description of Accountability:

 

Inventory & Stock Management Support

  • Assist with completing Replenishment App, Gap Scans, and Cyclic Counts according to store schedules.
  • Support in analyzing inventory reports, identify discrepancies, and follow up with the team to ensure accurate stock levels.

Logistics & Transfers Support

  • Monitor the flow of incoming shipments and store-to-store transfers, ensuring that all items are processed and recorded correctly.
  • Assist in resolving any discrepancies related to shipments and transfers under the guidance of the Operations Team Lead.

Back-of-House (BOH) Organization

  • Maintain an organized and clean back-of-house area, ensuring items are properly stored and easily accessible.
  • Support seasonal transitions by ensuring stock is rotated and properly labelled in preparation for changes.

Operational Support

Provide support in back-office operations, ensuring that administrative tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Supplier Communication

Support communication with suppliers regarding order statuses, delivery schedules, and any issues that may arise.
