As a Data Migration Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the entire data migration process from initial planning through to execution. This role requires coordinating multiple teams to ensure that data is transferred accurately and completely to the target system. The individual will define the migration strategy, establish necessary controls, and proactively manage any risks that may arise. Throughout the day, the lead will monitor progress, address challenges, and facilitate communication among stakeholders to guarantee a seamless and dependable transition of data assets.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Develop and implement best practices for data migration processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Monitor project timelines and resource allocation to ensure milestones are met effectively.
- Support junior team members by providing guidance and facilitating knowledge sharing.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Configuration & Release Management.
- Strong knowledge of version control systems and release automation tools.
- Experience in managing configuration baselines and change control processes.
- Ability to coordinate complex release schedules across multiple environments.
- Familiarity with deployment strategies and rollback procedures.
- Skilled in troubleshooting and resolving configuration-related issues during release cycles.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in Configuration & Release Management.
- This position is based at our Bengaluru office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
