We are currently hiring for a senior leadership role in Power System Operations based in the UAE.
The selected candidate will lead real-time power system operations across high-voltage transmission networks and generation assets, ensuring stable, secure, and reliable grid performance.
This is a strategic and operational leadership role involving:
Control room operations management
Transmission network operations
Grid stability and system security
SCADA / EMS operations
Switching and outage coordination
Frequency and voltage control
Emergency restoration and black start procedures
Renewable energy and BESS integration
Operational readiness and system transformation initiatives
Team leadership, operator competency development, and operational governance
RequirementsWe are looking for professionals who have hands-on experience operating large-scale transmission networks and managing real-time grid operations in highly regulated environments.
Key Requirements
Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, or related discipline
Around 10–20 years of relevant experience in control room / power system operations
Strong exposure to 400kV / 132kV transmission systems
Experience in SCADA/EMS platforms and real-time dispatch operations
Background in contingency management, outage planning, and system restoration
Strong understanding of Grid Codes and operational compliance
Experience leading operational teams within system operations environments
Exposure to renewable integration, battery storage systems, or modern energy management systems is highly preferred
