Consultant Physician – General Surgeon

We are currently looking for a Consultant General Surgeon with Fellowship in Trauma Surgery for a leading healthcare organization in Al Ain.

MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supports hospital policies and quality improvement initiatives.

• Participates in clinical governance and peer review processes.

• Provides leadership within the surgical department.

CLINICAL RESPONSIBILITIES

• Manage surgical trauma cases including abdominal and emergency surgical conditions.

• Perform complex trauma surgeries.

• Participate in emergency and on-call coverage.

• Work collaboratively with emergency medicine and intensive care teams.

• Supervise junior surgical staff.


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Medical Degree (MBBS or equivalent)

• Specialization in General Surgery

• Fellowship in Trauma Surgery

• TIER 1 Qualification as per DOH PQR

• Minimum 5 years post specialization experience

• Valid DOH License or Eligibility
