Chief Operating Officer

Our client is a regional logistics and supply chain services provider with operations spanning warehousing, transportation, and last-mile delivery across the UAE and GCC. The organisation is entering a scale-up phase with increased operational complexity and regional demand.

The Role

The Chief Operating Officer will have full responsibility for day-to-day operations across all logistics verticals. This role will drive operational performance, cost optimisation, and service quality across multi-site operations. A key mandate will be standardising processes, strengthening operational governance, and improving margin control. The COO will oversee large operational teams and ensure alignment between commercial commitments and delivery capability. The role will work closely with the CEO on expansion strategy and capacity planning. Technology enablement and automation will be central to the operational roadmap.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will have extensive senior operations leadership experience within logistics, supply chain, or transportation environments. Strong exposure to multi-site, high-volume operations is essential. Experience operating in the UAE or GCC markets is highly preferred. The candidate must demonstrate execution discipline, leadership maturity, and strong people management skills. A track record of scaling operations while maintaining service quality is critical. Commercial awareness and cross-functional influence are required.
