Safety Officer

We are seeking experienced and qualified Safety Officers to ensure compliance with workplace safety regulations and promote a strong safety culture across project sites. The selected candidates will be responsible for implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, minimizing risks, and ensuring a safe working environment for all employees and contractors.

• Implement and monitor site safety policies, procedures, and programs in line with legal and company standards.
  

  
  

• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments at project sites.
  

  
  

• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
  

  
  

• Ensure compliance with NEBOSH standards and local safety regulations.
  

  
  

• Conduct safety inductions, toolbox talks, and training programs for workers.
  

  
  

• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-miss cases and prepare detailed reports.
  

  
  

• Monitor proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  

  
  

• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation.
  

  
  

• Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and contractors on safety matters.
  

  
  

• Support emergency response planning and evacuation drills.
  

  
  

• Diploma in Engineering / Safety / Related Discipline.
  

  
  

• Valid NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory).
  

  
  

• Additional safety certifications will be an advantage.
  

  
  

• Good command of spoken and written English.
  

  
  

• Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience as a Safety Officer in industrial, construction, or project environments.
  

  
  

• Proven experience in handling site safety operations and compliance audits.
  

  
  

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards.
  

  
  

• Excellent communication and reporting skills in English.
  

  
  

• Ability to identify risks and implement preventive measures.
  

  
  

• Good leadership and training abilities.
  

  
  

• Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  

  
  

• Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools.
  

  
  

• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
  

  
  

• Salary: SAR 1,800 per month
  

  
  

  • SAR 1,500 (Initial)
    

    
    

  • SAR 300 Increment after 3 months (Subject to Client Approval)
