SUMMARY OF THE ROLE

In this role, you will lead the finance function to ensure strong financial governance, accurate reporting, and insightful analysis that supports business decisions. You will partner closely with management, drive financial discipline and support sustainable growth while ensuring full compliance with corporate and local requirements. This position is based in Casablanca, Morocco, and reports directly to the General Manager.

Responsibilities: 

• Lead and develop the Finance team by setting clear objectives, coaching team members, and fostering a high-performance culture aligned with company values.
• Partner with the General Manager on all financial matters, contributing to strategic planning, budgeting, and forecasting to support business growth and profitability.
• Own the monthly and annual financial closing and reporting process, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with Jotun Group standards and local regulations.
• Drive financial discipline by establishing and maintaining robust internal controls, governance procedures, and risk management frameworks.
• Ensure full tax and statutory compliance by overseeing the timely submission of all required returns and regulatory filings.
• Lead credit and receivables management, ensuring healthy cash flow and effective mitigation of credit risk in line with business strategy.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR AND WHAT WE OFFER

What we are looking for:

• Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 10+ years of relevant experience in finance & accounting, preferably in an international or industrial environment
• Experience or exposure to financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, internal controls, and relevant statutory requirements would be an added advantage
• Comfortable working with ERP systems and digital tools, including the Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel and Power BI)
