Demand Planning Manager

The Demand Planning Manager is responsible for creating accurate demand forecasts that support customer service efficiency and profitability across multiple categories (RMC, RRP and Shisha) for the Jordan market. This role plays a key part in ensuring strong alignment between sales, Logistics operations and supply chain functions by delivering reliable forecasts, enabling effective planning and driving data-based decision-making.

Position:

• Demand Forecasting & Collaboration: Develop accurate demand forecasts in close collaboration withSI, Brand Management and Sales teams by incorporating market trends, consumer and customer insights and business strategies. Ensure alignment between forecasting and sales plans to enhance customer service and satisfaction.
  
• Integrated Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Facilitate coordination between sales, production and supply chain functions to optimize S&OP processes. Consider lead times, inventory levels and logistics constraints to ensure efficient operations.
  
• Financial Planning & Resource Allocation: Apply a financial perspective to demand forecasting by considering profitability and efficiency targets and financial objectives. Support budgeting cycles for new product development and contribute to effective resource allocation decisions.
  
• Data Analytics & Market Intelligence: Utilize data analytics tools to analyze historical performance and market trends. Continuously monitor market dynamics and consumer behavior to anticipate demand changes and improve forecast accuracy.
  
• Cross-Functional Collaboration & Efficiency: Work closely with sales, marketing, finance and supply chain teams to ensure an integrated planning approach. Drive operational efficiency and identify opportunities to minimize costs while meeting demand effectively.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing or a related fields.
  
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Demand Planning, Logistics Operations or Material Planning within FMCG Industry.
  
• Strong proficiency in local language and English communication skills.
  
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with strong knowledge of SAP/ERP systems, inventory management, KPI reporting and data analysis.
  
• Strong statistical, analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in demand forecasting and supply chain planning.
