In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting FutureNow Centers, where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Technical Consultant specializing in AI Integration, you will implement, configure, and customize AI-driven solutions that integrate seamlessly into enterprise applications and workflows. You will translate solution designs and architectural blueprints into working systems, ensuring secure, efficient, and compliant deployment of AI services, APIs, and orchestration layers. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Implement AI Solutions: Implement, configure, and customize AI-driven solutions, translating solution designs and architectural blueprints into working systems that meet organizational and regulatory standards. * Develop Connectors and Pipelines: Develop connectors, build Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines, and configure prompts and guardrails to enable seamless integration with enterprise applications and workflows. * Optimize Performance: Implement observability, performance tuning, and cost optimization measures to ensure reliable, scalable, and responsible AI solutions. * Collaborate with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with architects, data engineers, and business stakeholders to validate requirements, deliver proofs of concept, and harden solutions for production. * Ensure Compliance: Ensure AI services, APIs, and orchestration layers are deployed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Required technical and professional expertise

* Exposure to API Integration: Hands-on experience with integrating AI services and APIs into enterprise applications and workflows, with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security. * Experience with Workflow Automation: Familiarity with event-driven patterns and workflow automation techniques to enable seamless integration of AI-driven solutions. * LLMOps Practices: Exposure to implementing and optimizing LLMOps practices for efficient and responsible AI solution delivery. * Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) Pipelines: Experience building and configuring RAG pipelines to support AI-driven solutions. * Event-Driven Patterns: Understanding of event-driven patterns and their application in integrating AI services and APIs into enterprise workflows.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* Workflow Automation Techniques: Familiarity with event-driven patterns and workflow automation techniques to enable seamless integration of AI-driven solutions, supporting the design and implementation of efficient workflows. * Advanced LLMOps Practices: Exposure to implementing and optimizing advanced LLMOps practices for efficient and responsible AI solution delivery, focusing on reliability, scalability, and security. * Specialized RAG Pipelines: Experience building and configuring specialized RAG pipelines to support complex AI-driven solutions, enabling the integration of multiple data sources and AI services.
