We are looking for a Senior Solution Architect – Digital Transformation. We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Solution Architect to drive the design and acquisition of complex digital transformation initiatives across Smart Cities, Energy & Utilities, Smart Infrastructure/Buildings, and Enterprise Data & AI platforms. This role spans the full lifecycle from offer preparation and architecture definition to delivery support and governance. You will work closely with customers, partners, and internal teams to design scalable, future-proof solutions aligned with business outcomes and technical excellence. A key aspect of this role is the ability to advise on system, solution, and enterprise architecture, ensuring consistency across platforms, technologies, and organizational landscapes. You’ll make a difference by: 1.Offer Preparation & Solution Design Analyze tender documents (RFP/RFQ/RFI) to extract business, functional, and technical requirements Derive high-level solution approaches and architecture concepts, including: Target architecture (logical, physical, deployment). Integration and data architecture strategies. Security and compliance considerations. Engage directly with customers to: Clarify requirements and constraints Align on architectural vision and solution scope Develop proposal-ready technical documentation with clear, structured, and compliant content 2.Architecture Advisory (System, Solution & Enterprise) Act as a trusted advisor on: System Architecture (component-level design, integration patterns, scalability) Solution Architecture (end-to-end solution design across applications and platforms) Enterprise Architecture (alignment with enterprise IT/OT landscapes, standards, and roadmaps) Ensure architectural consistency across: Business processes Data models and platforms Technology stacks and integration approaches Support customers in defining target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps 3.Costing, Estimation & Commercial Support Lead detailed effort estimation: Engineering, integration, data/AI development, testing, deployment Define resource models (internal vs. subcontracted delivery) Identify cost drivers and optimize solution designs for competitiveness and feasibility Support commercial teams with: Effort breakdown structures. Pricing inputs and assumptions Incorporate risk-adjusted estimation practices 4.Delivery Architecture & Technical Leadership Provide architectural oversight during project execution: Ensure alignment with proposed solution design Validate design decisions and implementation approaches Lead technical governance activities: Design reviews Architecture boards Contribute hands-on where required: Prototyping, integration design, or critical components Mentor engineering teams and enforce best practices and standards 5. Domain & Technology Leadership Design solutions across domains: Smart Cities and Digital Twin platforms Energy & Utilities (grid, water, renewable integration) Smart Buildings & Infrastructure (BMS, IoT platforms) Enterprise Data Platforms and AI/ML ecosystems Maintain strong and up-to-date knowledge of: Distributed systems, APIs, microservices IoT and edge architectures Data platforms (lakehouse, streaming, analytics) AI/ML pipelines and deployment models 6. Risk Management & Governance Identify and assess: Technical risks Delivery and integration risks Commercial and contractual risks Develop and track risk mitigation strategies Ensure compliance with: Customer requirements Organizational standards and quality frameworks 7. Innovation & AI-Driven Productivity Leverage modern AI tools (e.g., GenAI, coding assistants, design copilots) to: Improve productivity and quality of architecture artifacts Accelerate analysis, estimation, and documentation Stay current with emerging technologies and apply them pragmatically Demonstrate continuous learning and adaptability 8. Stakeholder & Partner Management Collaborate with: Customers and consultants Internal engineering and delivery teams External partners and subcontractors Evaluate partner capabilities and support build vs. buy decisions Act as a trusted technical advisor during early customer engagement phases You’ll win us over by: Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field 10+ years in solution architecture, system integration, or digital platforms Proven experience in: Large-scale bid preparation and technical proposal development Designing and delivering complex digital transformation projects Collaborating in international teams Experience in one or more domains: Smart Cities / Urban Platforms Energy & Utilities • Infrastructure / Smart Buildings Enterprise Data & AI platforms Technical Competencies Strong expertise in: Enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF) Integration patterns, APIs, and distributed architectures Data architectures (data lakes, warehouses, streaming) AI/ML systems and data pipelines IoT and OT/IT convergence Experience with: Cloud, hybrid, and on-premises environments Hands-on skills in: At least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, JavaScript) Commercial & Business Skills Strong effort estimation and costing capabilities Understanding of: Professional services economics Margin, pricing, and delivery models Ability to adapt solutions to customer business models and constraints.
