Senior Engineer: Wearables Platform Validation

Right candidate should be an excellent Python developer with hands-on embedded validation experience and will need to collaborate with software and hardware teams across geos to develop and enhance tools to model, debug and test various SoCs.

Skills Expectations:

· Strong C and Python programming skills, with proven experience in validation of low-power, memory-constrained systems

· Solid expertise in Object-Oriented Design and Concepts

· Strong understanding of ARM and RISC architectures, particularly Cortex‑M and RISC‑V series

· Hands-on experience with RTOS-based environments; Zephyr exposure is highly desirable

· Experience working with FPGA-based emulation setups, debugging tools, and lab equipment such as logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and JTAG interfaces (Lauterbach / J-Link)

· Experience in chip bring-up with strong fundamentals in digital hardware, including the ability to read and interpret board schematics

· Prior experience in automation systems leveraging multithreaded concepts to validate: Interrupt handling and real-time schedulers, Memory management, timers, watchdogs, Clocking architectures and power-save mechanisms, Boot-up and initialization sequences

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 2+ years of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
Master's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field and 1+ year of Software Test Engineering or related work experience.
OR
PhD in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.

• 1+ year of work or academic experience with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools (e.g., Source Code Control Systems, Continuous Integration Tools, and Bug Tracking Tools).

Experience with Configuration Control Systems; Perforce experience is highly desirable

· Ability to identify key performance metrics and author test specifications aligned with product release standards

· Strong verbal and written communication skills

· Ability to create, collate, and present detailed test reports that are both concise and technically comprehensive

· Proven ability to work effectively with cross‑functional and geographically distributed teams
