The Principal Data Analyst Role
As our Principal Data Analyst, you aren't just crunching numbers; you are the strategic engine behind our most critical business decisions. Joining the Acceleration Insights team, you’ll step into a high-visibility, hands-on leadership position where your expertise transforms complex data landscapes into clear, visionary paths.
You will act as a bridge between technology and strategy, empowering leaders with the clarity they need to drive the organization forward. This is a role for a storyteller and a builder who wants to see their insights turned into immediate, global action.

Beyond the technical, you’ll serve as a mentor and thought leader, shaping a culture of data excellence and upskilling a global community of users. If you thrive on the challenge of building "gold-standard" enterprise analytics while collaborating with diverse business units, this role offers the perfect blend of deep technical mastery and high-level strategic influence.
Here’s how you’ll be making an impact:
  • Architecting a Single Source of Truth: You will eliminate the frustration of data silos and conflicting logic by leading the governance of KPIs, ensuring every leader across the organization is operating from the same accurate, unified story.
  • Influencing Executive Strategy: By acting as a primary partner for senior stakeholders, you will help shape the roadmap for global metrics and OKRs, directly influencing the company’s long-term trajectory.
  • Driving Proactive Business Growth: You won’t just respond to requests; you’ll proactively identify hidden opportunities for efficiency and performance, owning these initiatives from discovery to the final victory.
  • Building a Scalable Data Legacy: You will collaborate with data engineering to build robust semantic layers and data models, creating a seamless self-service environment that empowers the entire company to be data-fluent.
  • Mentoring the Next Generation: You will leave a lasting mark by championing best practices in data storytelling and dashboard design, elevating the skills of analysts and users across the entire business.

We’re looking for a teammate with:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science / Software Engineering (or equivalent practical experience).
  • 8+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data science roles.
  • Expert-level proficiency in Qlik Sense / QlikView or alternate BI platforms, including data modeling, expressions, and performance tuning.
  • Strong SQL skills, DBT modelling and demonstrated experience working with data warehouses or lakehouse platforms (preferably Snowflake).
  • Proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and driving measurable business outcomes through data.
  • Excellent communication and data storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor content to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Solid understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT concepts, and data quality principles.
