In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant: SAP HANA Basis, you will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP HANA systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP HANA best practices. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Lead Client Engagement: Perform client-facing lead role, collaborating with clients to gather requirements and provide expert guidance on SAP HANA best practices, ensuring solutions meet their needs and expectations. * Design and Implement SAP HANA Systems: Design and implement SAP HANA systems, including system architecture and data modeling, to ensure high performance and scalability. * Optimize SAP HANA Landscapes: Configure and optimize SAP HANA landscapes for high performance and scalability, conducting system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning as needed. * Migrate Data to SAP HANA: Migrate data from various sources to SAP HANA using tools like SAP Data Services or SAP LT, ensuring seamless data integration. * Maintain Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain technical documentation and knowledge base, staying up-to-date with the latest SAP HANA features, trends, and best practices.

Required technical and professional expertise

* SAP HANA Implementation Experience: Experience with implementing, configuring, and maintaining SAP HANA systems, ensuring high availability, scalability, and performance. * SAP HANA Landscape Design: Experience in designing and optimizing SAP HANA landscapes, including system architecture and data modeling, for high performance and scalability. * Data Migration Expertise: Experience with migrating data from various sources to SAP HANA using tools like SAP Data Services or SAP LT. * SAP HANA Performance Optimization: Experience with configuring and optimizing SAP HANA systems for high performance, including system monitoring, troubleshooting, and performance tuning. * SAP Solutions Knowledge: Experience with SAP solutions such as S/4 HANA, ECC, BW, SCM, CRM, SRM, HCM, and SQL, as well as SAP BTP, SLT, and SAP ASE.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* SAP BTP Knowledge: Experience with SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) is beneficial for integrating SAP HANA with other SAP solutions and cloud services. * SLT and SAP ASE Skills: Familiarity with SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) and SAP Adaptive Server Enterprise (ASE) can be advantageous in data migration and system integration. * Cloud Migration Expertise: Experience with cloud migration, particularly in the context of SAP HANA and S/4 HANA, can be valuable in supporting clients' cloud transformation journeys.
