In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Your role and responsibilities

As a Package Consultant specializing in SAP Ariba, you will be responsible for implementing and configuring SAP Ariba solutions for clients. You will work closely with clients to understand their procurement and supply chain management needs and design, configure, and deploy Ariba solutions to meet their requirements. Your primary responsibilities will include: * Implement SAP Ariba Solutions: Design, configure, and deploy Ariba solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. * Analyze Business Processes: Examine client business processes to identify areas for improvement and develop solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance procurement and supply chain management. * Collaborate with Clients: Work closely with clients to understand their procurement and supply chain management needs, providing expert guidance and support throughout the implementation process. * Develop Solutions: Apply expertise in SAP Ariba to develop tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges and objectives. * Deliver Solution Deployments: Ensure timely and successful deployment of Ariba solutions, meeting client expectations and delivering tangible business benefits.

Required technical and professional expertise

* SAP Ariba Implementation: Experience with designing, configuring, and deploying SAP Ariba solutions to meet client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. * Procurement and Supply Chain Management: Exposure to analyzing business processes to identify areas for improvement and developing solutions to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance procurement and supply chain management. * SAP Ariba Configuration: Experience with configuring Ariba solutions to meet client-specific needs and objectives, applying expertise in SAP Ariba to develop tailored solutions. * Client Collaboration: Experience working with clients to understand their procurement and supply chain management needs, providing expert guidance and support throughout the implementation process. * Solution Deployment: Experience with delivering timely and successful deployment of Ariba solutions, meeting client expectations and delivering tangible business benefits.

Preferred technical and professional experience

* SAP Ariba Optimization: Exposure to optimizing Ariba solutions for enhanced procurement and supply chain management, including identifying areas for improvement and developing tailored solutions. * Advanced Configuration: Experience with advanced configuration of Ariba solutions to meet complex client requirements, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems and processes. * Industry Knowledge: Exposure to industry-specific procurement and supply chain management practices, enabling effective solution development and deployment.
