Role Descriptor

DHL Express is looking for a Business Analyst to join and lead our team. He/she will be responsible for establishing IT Business Processes, Gathering Business Requirements, coordinating with BIT, Business and IT Vendors, Documentation, Planning and Executing Projects with Regional and Local Program Office.

Key Responsibilities

He/she will have to perform the following key activities:

• Country staff:
• Collect country functional user’s requirements and document the BRS.
• Provide justifiable solutions, time lines and costs via local development, outsourcing or package acquisition where local requirements cannot be met by proprietary business application (with agreement of Business Owners and GIS).
• Ensure business Services are delivered to all Business Entities to a high standard, in a timely manner and with ongoing support.
• Ensure service Level Agreements for Business Services are met or exceeded.
• Ensuring all deployed software performs in an optimum manner.
• Maintain implementation of new or updated applications maximizes the level of operational service with minimal disruption to the core business.
• Maintain application portfolio and track them towards ensuring required hygiene from an application standpoint is maintained.
• Power platform and power BI solutions and implementation.
• Artificial Intelligence (AI) related actionables.
• Regional Office:
• Capture and direct country requirements to the regional office.
• Vendors/ Suppliers:
• Work with vendors for delivering the IT projects
• Collaborate with vendors in case of incidents in production environment
• Third party software/hardware service providers:
• Liaise with to provide local solutions.
• Ensure third party service providers to deliver solution according to business requirements & agreements with DHL.
• Business Analysis:
• Monitor the progress of local requirement implementation.
• Continuously review business direction, business processes and available applications through:
• Business needs analysis in the context of regional and country direction
• Determination of appropriate IS system solutions, including evaluation for future releases of proprietary software.
• Ensuring data quality meets local standards and User requirements are met.
• Maintaining full process documentation for all operational systems.
• Completion of project / task within agreed timeline and approved budgets.
• To develop skills in DHL proprietary applications.

• Exploration and adoption of new Technologies
• Exploration of AI and identifying it’s use cases in DHL
• Plan the implementation of AI use cases
• Build and support Power Platform solutions
• Building Power BI dashboards

Skills Required

• Communication Skills (English), Spoken and Written (excellent)
• Technical expertise in:

oAll of DHL’s proprietary core business applications.

oExisting Local Application enhancements and new developments.

oWindows -basedServers andWorkstations O/S (Windows 11, Windows Server 2022, 2025).

oDatabase Management (MS-SQL 2022 and 2025).

oDesktop Applications (Microsoft Office, Outlook Mail, Exchange, Visio, Crystal Reports, Visual Studio, VSS / TFS, Microsoft Project, etc.).

oDot Net, Java, Share-Point, PHP, others.

oInternet Technologies.

oKnowledge and exploration of latest AI trends

oHands on experience on building Power Platform solutions and Power BI

·Expertise in creating Powerpoint presentations

Profile Requirements

(Experience/Certifications/Qualifications/Licenses)

• 5 to 7 years IT and Business Experience, preferably inlogistics industry.
• Degree in Information Technology / Business (or equivalent).
