Key Responsibilities
Payroll Processing Support
Executeend‑to‑endpayroll processing in coordination with local payroll vendors (if relevant) and systems.
Validate payroll inputs including earnings, deductions, time entries, absences, andone‑timepayments.
Reconcile payroll outputs and support retro payments,off‑cyclepayrolls, and corrections.
Support final pay processing for terminations, in alignment withcountry‑specificrules.
Assistwith statutory reporting and payroll audits asrequired.
Keep contact with relevant local authorities as required.
ExecuteWorkday /Payroll system data audit,Identifyand resolve interface(as relevant)errors and data inconsistencies
Benefits Administration
Administercountry‑specificstatutory andcompany‑sponsoredbenefits, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
Coordinate with localbenefitsvendors and insurersas applicableto resolve eligibility, coverage, and contributionissuesas relevant.
Maintain benefits data accuracy in relevant systemsor with vendors
Support benefitscomplianceactivities and renewal cycles where applicable.
Keep contact with relevant local authorities as required.
Time Management & Absence (as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
Support time and attendance processing, including validations, corrections, and retro adjustments.
Resolvetime‑relatedinquiries tied to payroll outcomes.
Ensure time configurations and inputs align with local working time regulations,collectiveagreementsandpublic holidays
Keep contact with relevant local authorities as required.
Leave of Absence (LOA) (as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
Process and administer statutory and company leave programs (e.g., sickness, parental, disability,unpaid leave).
Coordinate LOA impact on pay, benefits, and time tracking.
EnsureaccurateLOA documentation and trackingin Workday.
CaseManagement
Serve as the first point of contact for Tier 1, resolve Tier 2 inquiries payroll, time, benefit questions
Partner with Country HR, People Support, Payroll Vendors, HRIS, and BenefitsCoEas needed.
Document actions and decisions clearly and escalate risks appropriately.
Delivertimelyandaccuratesupport and execution in the Case tool andin accordance withthe SLA framework for the team
Vendor Coordination(as relevant in line with agreed country scope)
Communicate with payroll/time system/benefitsvendors tosubmitdata, track processing status, and resolve routine issues.
Support documentation and follow-up for vendor-related service tickets.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure payroll documentation is complete,accurate, andaudit ready.
Follow established procedures tomaintaincompliance with local,stateetc.regulations.
Support digital personnel file standardsfor payroll related documents
Ensure adherencetostatutory requirements including tax filings, social security, and labor lawsasrequired.
Supportyear-end activities(e.g., tax forms, reconciliations, filings).
Monitorpayroll controls, variance analysis, and exception reportingasrequired.
Payroll Reporting & Analytics
Generate andvalidatepayroll reports (e.g.gross-to-net, variance, headcount, cost reportsetc).
Perform trend analysis andidentifydiscrepancies or anomalies.
Support finance and HR with payroll-related data requests.
Assistin month-end and year-end reconciliations with Finance.
System and Data Governance
Ensure dataaccuracy inpayroll, andtime systems.
Support system testing (UAT), enhancements, and implementations.
Maintain audit trails.
ContinuousImprovement
Partner closely with Country HR, Global People Support, HRIS, andvendors to improve efficiency.
Contribute to SOPs, help articles, and localization updates for payroll,timemanagementand benefits processes.
Support process improvements, automation opportunities, andstandardization.
Maintainaudit‑readydocumentation and support internal/externalaudits.
Flag compliance risks, process gaps, or recurring issues to regionalPeople Services leadership.
Qualifications
Localqualificationsin payrollor equivalent experience in Accounting,Payroll, orrelated field.Bachelor’s degree inhumanresourcesorlocal payroll qualificationrelated field preferred.
Minimum3-5years of payroll experience.
Experiencewith payroll/time/benefitsystems.
Experience with payroll controls
Skills
Working knowledge of country payroll, time,tax, social security,leave, and benefits regulations.
Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
Solid analytical andproblem‑solvingskills.
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle confidential data with discretion.
Ability to work independently in a process-driven SSC environment
Continuous improvement mindset
Comfortable working with Workday, payroll/time/benefit vendor platforms
Proficient inExcel.
Fluency in English and local language as relevant.
