Overview of the role

We are building a global design team in Egypt and across the region to support our operations in more than 20 countries. As part of this expansion, we’re looking for a skilled **Senior Video Editor** who can craft compelling video content that connects with diverse audiences across digital platforms.

This role is perfect for someone with a sharp eye for detail, strong storytelling instincts, and a passion for editing dynamic, engaging content. You’ll work on a range of projects—from brand videos and product explainers to social media content and internal communications—bringing concepts to life through expert editing and visual storytelling. The role also requires the ability to work effectively in a remote environment, collaborating seamlessly with cross-functional teams across different time zones. 

Experience working in **creative agencies or production houses** is highly valued, as you’ll be expected to adapt quickly, handle multiple briefs, and collaborate across teams. We’re also keen to explore how AI tools can enhance our workflows, so we’re looking for someone open to experimenting with new platforms to speed up editing processes and push creative boundaries.

 

What you will do

  • Edit high-quality video content using tools like **Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro**, or **DaVinci Resolve** and cutting video for socials channels and different platforms.
  • Organize and manage raw footage, apply color correction, sound design, and visual refinement to ensure polished final outputs 
  • Collaborate with creative and cross-functional teams to understand project goals, brand tone, and storytelling direction 
  • Adapt and reformat videos for different platforms (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, internal comms) 
  • Integrate AI-assisted tools like **Pictory, RunwayML**, or **Lumen5** to improve turnaround time and streamline workflows 
  • Stay current with editing trends, visual styles, and platform best practices 
  • Maintain file organization, version control, and proper archiving of all assets 
  • Support the creative team with quick-turnaround edits and content refreshes as needed
