Role Overview
The Financial Analysis Manager supports financial evaluation, investment analysis, and treasury-related activities for business operations within the energy sector. The role focuses on analysing financial data, supporting strategic decision-making, and enhancing financial performance through structured analysis, planning, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare financial models and analytical assessments to evaluate the feasibility and financial performance of investment opportunities and business initiatives.
Support the development of investment proposals, internal financial reports, and risk assessments for management review.
Collect, analyse, and interpret market data, industry trends, and regulatory information to support business and investment planning.
Assist with financial due diligence by reviewing financial, commercial, and related documentation.
Monitor financial performance following project or investment execution, including cash flows, revenue, and return indicators.
Support activities related to funding and capital structure, including coordination with financial institutions and funding partners.
Assist in the preparation of information and materials for lender or investor discussions.
Support cash flow monitoring to ensure adequate liquidity for operational and investment needs.
Assist with treasury activities such as tracking loan drawdowns, repayments, interest expenses, and related reporting.
Contribute to cash flow forecasting and financial risk management initiatives, where applicable.
Coordinate with internal finance teams to support compliance with financial covenants, reporting requirements, and internal controls.
Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and analytical support.
Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports to support management decision-making.
Support continuous improvement of financial analysis processes, tools, and reporting standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Investment, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Approximately 8–10 years of experience in financial analysis, corporate finance, investment analysis, project finance, or treasury.
Prior exposure to the energy or other capital‑intensive or regulated sectors is an advantage.
Basic understanding of financial modelling, valuation techniques, and cash flow analysis; strong Excel skills preferred.
Interest in investment evaluation, financial structuring, and funding-related activities.
Working knowledge of treasury concepts such as cash flow forecasting and working capital management is a plus.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organisational skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with internal teams and external counterparties.
Willingness to travel domestically as required for business coordination.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Good command of English, both written and spoken.
