Job Description



We are seeking a Content Specialist to join our Digital Experience team. This person will work



closely with our strategy, design and engineering teams to deliver solutions for our clients that



work within the Magnolia content management system. This role will act as a subject matter



expert on the content management system that we implement and will be responsible for



determining what can and cannot be built, partnering with our clients throughout the



engagement.



A successful candidate will be able to quickly understand and explain the capabilities and



solutions, explaining how they work within the structure of the CMS, think critically to identify



insights and be able to clearly understand what can and cannot be done, while making



recommendations to achieve the clients goal. This is an exciting opportunity for a person to



solve business problems, design systems, and have a direct impact on client’s lives. This role



provides an excellent balance between content entry and design/system governance.




Job Location: This is a remote position. Candidate should live in the Eastern or Central Time Zone.




Responsibilities



Website updates including content, assets, layout/design changes, SEO and metadata



Perform governance of design files to assess compliance with brand guidelines, CMS



component capabilities and responsiveness



Act as a Subject Matter Expert on CMS project implementations, providing guidance on



the solution being built.



Facilitate and lead specifications elicitation meetings with the client



Analyze documentation from clients and vendors



Build/migrate websites using design files, assets, link matrix, sitemap, etc.



Work with the dev team to identify component bugs/missing functionality and potential



enhancements



Train colleagues on use of the CMS and the governance process



Participate in design sessions and provide governance feedback



Documentation – create governance checklists, website standards, web processes, and



other supplementary documentation



Manage requirements, specifications and track changes with use of effective change



management process



Meet with design agencies to discuss design questions and provide recommendations



on layout/component use



Create training materials and lead training sessions with the clients



Qualifications



2+ years in a client facing role (consultancy or agency preferred)



Experience working in Content Management Systems




The annual salary range for this position is $54,000 - $79,000 annually. We base placement within the salary range on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, and other factors permitted by law.Benefits available with this position include:
