The Field Sales Representative is responsible for driving profitable growth through service account management and water treatment solution sales across the Northeast Heavy Industry market. This role manages an established customer base while identifying, developing, and closing new business opportunities within key industrial segments including power plants, HPI/CPI, pulp and paper, mining, food manufacturing, and primary metals.
The successful candidate will develop and execute territory sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue goals, strengthen customer relationships, and expand market share. This position requires a strong blend of technical sales capability, account management discipline, and market development expertise. The Field Sales Representative must be comfortable working independently in the field, engaging key decision-makers, and partnering cross-functionally to deliver customer-focused solutions.
Demonstrates a strong commitment to continuous professional development by actively building industry knowledge, improving sales capability, and staying current on market trends and best practices.
Works collaboratively across teams and functions, recognizing the value of partnership in delivering strong customer outcomes and achieving business goals.

Salary
The estimated base salary range for this position is $85,000 to $100,000 plus bonus. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range. At Xylem we offer a competitive compensation package with a generous benefit package, including Medical, Dental, Vision plans, 401(k) with company contribution, paid time off, paid parental leave and tuition reimbursement.
