Mechanical Engineer

About the Role:
We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our engineering team in Abu Dhabi, working on mechanical design and analysis for various projects. You will collaborate on HVAC system design, perform finite element analysis, and support project management activities from concept through execution. This entry-level position is ideal for candidates with up to 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering, eager to grow their technical skills and contribute to high-impact projects in the region.

Responsibilities:
Develop mechanical designs and detailed drawings using AutoCAD
Perform finite element analysis (FEA) to validate design concepts
Design and analyze HVAC systems for commercial and industrial projects
Support project planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design compliance with specifications and codes
Prepare technical reports, calculations, and documentation
Assist in prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting

Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
0-2 years of engineering experience, preferably in mechanical design
Proficiency in AutoCAD for creating and modifying engineering drawings
Experience with HVAC system design principles and standards
Basic knowledge of finite element analysis tools and methods
Working knowledge of MATLAB for data analysis and scripting
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, multicultural environment
Willingness to work in Abu Dhabi with occasional site visits

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with FEA software such as ANSYS or SolidWorks Simulation
Project Management certification or coursework
Familiarity with local UAE mechanical codes and standards
Hands-on experience in prototype assembly or testing
Knowledge of other CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, Inventor)
Industry exposure in oil & gas, construction, or infrastructure projects
Arabic language proficiency
