Job description

Spotify Advertising is seeking a contract Associate Manager to join our UK Creative Operations team for a 12-month parental leave cover. We work collaboratively with brands and agencies to inspire, create, and scale creativity with Spotify-first thinking. In this role, you will lead production for top clients, optimise workflows, and partner with external creative vendors and internal cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable creative solutions. You will play a key role in supporting Spotify’s Sales teams by overseeing the end-to-end production of ad campaigns across digital, video, audio, and podcast formats. You will also identify opportunities to improve internal processes and drive operational efficiency. This role requires a proactive problem-solver who can balance client expectations with scalable production realities. The ideal candidate brings strong experience in ad production (podcast experience is a plus) and operational strategy, with a proven ability to navigate complex workflows. You are confident in interpreting and communicating nuanced feedback across clients, podcast partners, internal stakeholders, and production vendors. This role reports to the International Production Lead for Creative Operations as part of Spotify’s Creative Lab.

What You'll Do

  • Lead end-to-end production for key advertising campaigns, from brief to delivery, ensuring high-quality creative output
  • Partner with Sales, clients, and agencies to shape creative approaches that align with campaign goals
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams and manage timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication
  • Build strong relationships with external production vendors, overseeing onboarding, performance, and capacity planning
  • Identify workflow improvements and remove production bottlenecks to support scalable delivery
  • Support the development of new ad formats and refine podcast production workflows
  • Contribute to automation and AI initiatives that improve efficiency across creative production
  • Maintain and improve production tools and systems (e.g., Asana, Coda) in partnership with global teams
  • Advise Sales partners on production processes, timelines, and creative best practices

Who You Are

    • You have 5+ years of experience in project management or account management within a client-facing, creative environment
    • You are experienced in creative production across formats such as audio, video, podcasts, and digital
    • You understand how creative execution supports advertiser goals and business outcomes
    • You are confident managing external vendors, including onboarding, performance, and resource planning
    • You communicate clearly and thoughtfully, especially when navigating feedback across clients and stakeholders
    • You are comfortable working across multiple projects and priorities in a fast-moving environment
    • You spot inefficiencies and take action to improve processes and scalability
    • You are curious about new tools and technologies, including automation and AI in creative workflows
    • You are experienced with project management tools (e.g., Asana) and Google Workspace

Where You'll Be

  • This role is based in London
  • We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home. We ask that you come in 1-2 times per week.
