In this role, you will:



  • Coach and mentor Relationship Managers (including Sales Managers) to strengthen portfolio management discipline, client engagement quality, and overall professionalism in line with the IWPB model.
  • Build RM capability in financial planning and wealth products, improving advisory conversations, need-based selling, and suitability-led recommendations.
  • Partner with RM leaders as a strategic advisor to shape team routines, standards, and performance expectations, driving consistent client management practices.
  • Deliver structured training, observation, and feedback (e.g., call/meeting coaching, pipeline reviews, role plays) to improve sales effectiveness, wallet share, and wealth penetration.
  • Track and evidence impact through agreed KPIs (e.g., client activity, conversion, product mix, penetration, portfolio health), identifying gaps and implementing targeted improvement plans.
  • Ensure all coaching and business activity adheres to HSBC Business Principles, operational risk controls, and local/global compliance requirements, maintaining strong conduct and operational integrity.

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:



  • In depth experience in financial services and Relationship Management; HNW portfolio experience preferred.
  • Expert knowledge of financial planning and wealth products, with a proven track record of strong client recommendations and sales outcomes.
  • Demonstrated experience coaching and developing high-performing wealth teams; people leadership/team handling experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of macro/microeconomics and local market developments
  • Expert knowledge of the external regulatory framework for wealth management; holds required local licences/accreditations and partners effectively with Compliance, Credit & Risk, and Internal Control.
  • Ability to communicate well in English and Arabic is preferred
  • A graduation degree is essential for obtaining a UAE visa and work permit. If your university certificate is from outside the UAE, up-to-date attestations and equivalency are also mandatory (Recognition of Higher Education Qualifications Issued Outside The UAE).
