About the job TECHNICAL SAFETY & LOSS PREVENTION SENIOR ENGINEER

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Technical Safety and Loss Prevention Engineer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience and strong technical expertise in fire protection systems, hydraulic analysis, and safety engineering within industrial or oil & gas environments.


JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Perform steady-state and transient fire water hydraulic analysis for fire water (FW) networks.
  • Evaluate and validate the performance of fire water systems under various operating scenarios.
  • Review and approve vendor documentation related to fire protection systems, clean agent fire suppression systems, deluge systems, fire monitors and associated equipment
  • Prepare and verify deluge system layouts and fire monitor coverage drawings to ensure adequate protection coverage.
  • Ensure all fire protection designs meet applicable codes, standards, and project requirements.
  • Identify potential safety risks and recommend mitigation measures.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, including process, mechanical, and instrumentation engineers.
  • Provide technical guidance and support during design reviews and project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards such as NFPA, API, and relevant local regulations.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, Fire Protection, or related discipline).
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in Technical Safety and Loss Prevention.
  • Proven experience in fire water system design and hydraulic analysis.
  • Strong background in reviewing fire protection vendor packages.
  • Experience in preparing and reviewing deluge and fire monitor coverage layouts.
  • Familiarity with international codes and standards (e.g., NFPA, API).
