Job description

A leading financial institution is undergoing a critical regulatory technology transformation, implementing and automating core capital reporting infrastructure across Basel III, liquidity, and credit risk frameworks. The organisation is seeking an experienced IT Resource with deep hands-on expertise in Moody's Risk Foundation (Risk Authority / Confidence) to support system implementation, integration, and ongoing regulatory reporting operations.

 

Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on support for Moody's Risk Foundation platform, including Risk Authority and Confidence modules, across implementation and BAU phases.

• Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes and batch integrations to support data extraction and loading for regulatory reporting.

• Support CBUAE BRF regulatory reporting requirements, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.

• Develop and maintain SQL and PL-SQL scripts to support data extraction, transformation, and validation across core banking and risk systems.

• Contribute to the delivery of system testing phases including SIT, UAT, Disaster Recovery (DR), and Go-Live activities.

• Support regulatory reporting workstreams covering Basel (Pillar 1 & 2), LCR/NSFR, RAROC, Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Liquidity Risk.

• Assist in cloud deployment activities on AWS and/or Azure, ensuring robust and scalable infrastructure for regulatory platforms.

• Collaborate with business, risk, and technology stakeholders to investigate and resolve data and system issues impacting regulatory outputs.

• Leverage AI capabilities where applicable to enhance automation, data processing, and reporting efficiency.

 

Qualifications and Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Moody's Risk Foundation, specifically Risk Authority and/or Confidence modules.

• Experience in CBUAE BRF regulatory reporting, including data extraction, ETL processes, and batch integrations.

• Proficient in SQL and PL-SQL, with the ability to develop and maintain complex queries and scripts in a banking data environment.

• Proven experience supporting regulatory frameworks including Basel, LCR/NSFR, RAROC, Credit Risk, Market Risk, and Liquidity Risk.

• Demonstrated experience across system testing phases: SIT, UAT, Disaster Recovery, and Go-Live.

• Hands-on knowledge of cloud deployments on AWS and/or Azure is required.

• Exposure to AI tools and techniques is an added advantage.

• Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively across business and technology teams in a fast-paced banking environment.
