Qualification (minimum)

* Minimum 10+ years' experience in Database Administration (IT environment)
* Mandatory Certified Database Professional (Oracle OCP / equivalent)
* Strong hands-on experience in Oracle & SQL Database
* Proven expertise in implementation, administration, support & maintenance of databases
* Experience in performance tuning, backup & recovery, and database security preferred
Job Description
* Design, implement, maintain, and optimise database systems to ensure high availability and performance.
* Perform full lifecycle database administration including installation, configuration and maintenance of Oracle and SQL databases.
* Monitor database health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure system reliability and uptime.
* Plan, implement, and test database backup and recovery strategies to safeguard critical data.
* Perform database performance tuning and optimisation to maintain efficient system operations.
* Implement database security controls, access management, and ensure data integrity and compliance.
* Support database design, data modelling, and development of stored procedures and triggers.
* Manage database environments including production, test, migration, and refresh activities.
* Coordinate with IT teams, vendors, and stakeholders to support digital transformation initiatives and system improvements.
