SWIFT & ICSD Operations Analyst – Abu Dhabi (Post-Trade)


We are seeking a SWIFT & ICSD Operations Analyst to support and manage post-trade activities related to SWIFT connectivity and International Central Securities Depositories (ICSDs). The role focuses on ensuring accurate and timely settlement of domestic and cross-border securities transactions while driving operational excellence and process improvements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Support daily SWIFT securities messaging (MT5xx / MT54x / MT56x and ISO 20022).


  • Manage ICSD-related settlement, custody, and asset servicing activities (e.g., Euroclear / Clearstream).


  • Monitor settlement flows, investigate exceptions, and resolve breaks/fails.


  • Support corporate actions, dividends, and income processing for cross-border securities.


  • Coordinate with internal teams (Operations, IT, Risk) and external stakeholders (ICSDs, custodians, SWIFT).


  • Participate in SWIFT enhancements, testing, and migration projects.


  • Ensure compliance with market rules, ICSD standards, and internal controls.


  • Contribute to reporting, automation, and STP improvement initiatives.


Requirements:


  • Bachelors degree.


  • 3–6 years of experience in post-trade operations, custody, CSD/ICSD, or securities settlement.


  • Hands-on experience with SWIFT securities messaging (MT & ISO 20022).


  • Exposure to ICSD services (Euroclear and/or Clearstream).


  • Strong understanding of equities, fixed income, ETFs, and cross-border settlement models.


  • Strong analytical and stakeholder management skills.
