Supervisor, Road Operations


Responsibilities:


  1. Supporting day-to-day fleet, transport, and operational administrative activities.
  2. Coordinating cross-border and domestic transport operations to ensure smooth and timely deliveries.
  3. Preparing and overseeing the department asset register pertaining to office equipment to ensure records are maintained and updated.
  4. Coordinating vendor and service RFQ’s process, ensuring all contractual obligations are clearly addressed and documented thus maximizing cost efficiencies.
  5.  Preparing and coordinating LPO’s in accordance with company guidelines to ensure expenditure is maintained within budget.
  6. Actively maintaining all operating systems (JOBS/Micro Transport) to ensure information is accurate and the timeliness of data is completed within process timeframes.
  7. Coordinating the monthly asset internal billing process with internal departments to ensure that it is accurate and completed within process timeframe.
  8. Managing information to ensure data entry is accurate and timely; report generation is concise, accurate, pertinent and timely in accordance with activity schedules or agreed time frames; system files are maintained and updated
  9. Preparing and overseeing all HR processes to ensure absenteeism and overtime are administered proficiently.
  10. Overseeing QA/QC of SLA’s/SOP’s to ensure operational signoff and operational conformance of all legislative and regulatory requirements is achieved.
  11. Compiling with all operational procedures and practices which may be required, maintaining a positive attitude that promotes teamwork, shared goals and values, motivation, and staff development.
  12. Maintaining professional partnering relationships with inter-department teams across all parts of the Dubai operation and with industry sector affiliates.
  13. Performing any other related duties/ projects assigned by General Manager - Transport from time to time to meet business exigencies.
  14. Performing any other duties/projects assigned by the manager or supervisor from time to time to meet business expectations.

Qualifications & Characteristics:


Education –  Bachelors or Diploma


Work Experience – 3 years experience in logistics and transportation industry
