Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Receive, inspect, and record incoming inventory.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, ensuring that all stock levels are updated regularly.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and audits to ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Manage stock rotations and ensure that products are stored according to company standards.
  • Store Operations:
  • Organize and maintain the store layout to optimize space and accessibility.
  • Ensure the store area is clean, organized, and free from hazards.
  • Implement and maintain store security protocols to prevent theft and damage.
  • Order Fulfillment:
  • Prepare and fulfill customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Coordinate with the procurement team to replenish stock as needed.
  • Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Record Keeping:
  • Maintain detailed records of all stock movements, including receipts, dispatches, and returns.
  • Generate regular inventory reports for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding inventory control.
  • Team Collaboration:
  • Work closely with other departments, such as procurement, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior staff or new hires on storekeeping procedures.
