Job description

Start-Up Phase


  • Assist OCM in preparing the offshore project deliverables list
  • Participate in project kick-off and strategy meetings to finalize offshore execution strategy
  • Support development of offshore execution plans
  • Assist in preparing techno-commercial analyses to optimize offshore installation costs

Start-Up / All Phases


  • Assist OCM in preparing the construction aids list (load register) and follow up fabrication progress with NOD base
  • Review engineering documents, drawings, and analyses from a constructability perspective
  • Support issuance of Purchase Requisitions for offshore materials not covered by engineering and follow up with procurement


All Project Phases


  • Coordinate offshore scope activities with all internal departments
  • Assist in evaluation, expediting, receipt, and MRV approval of offshore materials
  • Liaise with third-party agencies on offshore execution matters
  • Coordinate with marine warranty surveyors on documentation, load-out, towing, and installation activities
  • Attend weekly progress meetings with VPOO/OCM/OCD and highlight issues
  • Ensure implementation of the project safety plan and company HSEMS
  • Ensure and enhance quality of work and participate in quality audits
  • Support preparation of variation orders and claims, including technical input and offshore durations
  • Prepare and coordinate mobilization plans and support mobilization meetings with marine and field teams

Pre-Offshore Phase


  • Prepare the Risk Assessment Register, participate in RA meetings, and circulate consolidated comments to the client and internal stakeholders
  • Prepare job cards for offshore hook-up work
  • Ensure timely pre-installation and load-out of offshore execution items
  • Ensure availability of latest approved documentation onboard offshore spread


Offshore Execution Phase


  • Assist in updating offshore schedules based on progress and resource availability and propose recovery measures for delays
  • Support coordination of subcontractor mobilization/demobilization and performance evaluation
  • Monitor daily offshore operations and coordinate closely with client and marine teams
  • Conduct HSE audits and safety tours on offshore spreads.

Close-Out Phase


  • Assist in preparation of offshore final documentation and dossiers
  • Support preparation of project close-out reports
  • Review project scope, drawings, and deliverables for compliance
  • Ensure installation procedures comply with contractual and project requirements
  • Monitor barge and vessel progress to ensure schedule adherence and resolve technical issues
  • Review mobilization/demobilization plans for vessels, materials, manpower, and subcontractors

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferably Mechnical, Civil, Naval) or, equivlant.
  • 8 year’s experience in offshore construction
  • Commercial awareness and cost effectiveness.
  • Influencing ability.
  • Good English communication skills.
  • Report writing skills.
  • Very good oral & written communication skills & committed team player/ leader.
  • Decision maker.
  • Thorough understanding of offshore operations, personnel and equipment.
