JOB PURPOSE
Lead and coordinate the creation and review of external PR & media content for ADNOC Distribution to ensure messaging is clear, impactful, and aligned with ADNOC Distribution’s strategy and narrative. Lead and develop strategic external communications planning, ensuring collaboration across departments to maximize impact, consistency, and value. Serve as the focal point for PR media communications with business teams to advise and provide strategic guidance on media positioning opportunities and strategies. Drive media relations and stakeholder engagement to shape ADNOC Distribution’s external positioning and protect and enhance the company’s reputation.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
Strategic Content Planning and Development
- Develop strategic communication plans to effectively convey ADNOC Distribution’s brand story, product offerings, corporate announcements, and key initiatives across various media channels.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify and fulfill their digital and print communication needs.
- Research and draft high-quality content including press releases, social media articles, talking points, Op-eds, and feature articles, ensuring alignment with ADNOC Distribution’s corporate and brand narrative, tone and copy style.
- Analyze informational inputs to generate creative concepts and propose content strategies that enhance ADNOC Distribution’s visibility and value proposition.
Content Design, Standardization, and Execution
- Oversee the creation and design of PR and Media content, text, visuals, videos, and infographics, across platforms, ensuring compliance with ADNOC Distribution and ADNOC Group guidelines.
- Conduct content development in collaboration with stakeholders to gather data and develop visuals that maintain conceptual integrity and brand tone.
- Standardize content across platforms and media, revising materials as needed to ensure consistency with organizational communication strategies.
- Support manager in finalizing advertisements, brochures, product/service booklets, and campaign materials before rollout across channels. Including drafting copy and proofreading to ensure ADNOC Distribution standards are met.
Media Activities and Analysis
- Analyze the performance of PR and media campaigns, identifying opportunities for improvement in approach, content, and outreach.
- Monitor competitor media activities, assess campaign impact, and provide strategic recommendations based on market intelligence.
- Implement tracking models to monitor press coverage, reputational risks, and opportunities, informing planning on a weekly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Manage centralized non-technical archiving facilities to preserve corporate heritage, ensuring materials are well-classified for future reference.
Production, Coordination, and Support
- Coordinate with senior management to ensure alignment of core messaging and promotional activities across channels. Including broadcast, print and digital formats.
- Collaborate with team members to harmonize digital, press, and campaign content across communication channels, supporting internal and external strategies and objectives.
- Maintain relationships with PR and Media agency, overseeing external PR support, media placements, and publications.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to produce video script narration, adapt communication materials, and conduct regular content audits to maintain an up-to-date content inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing communication, Marketing, or Advertising from a recognized university
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
- 8 years of experience in digital and social media marketing and advertising etc.
- Experience in Oil and Gas, Retail industry will be preferable.
