The Specialist, GIS (Geographic Information Systems) plays a critical role in the development and implementation of GIS projects and systems.
This position involves analyzing spatial data through mapping software, maintaining and updating geographic databases, and producing high-quality maps and visualizations that support decision-making processes across various projects.
The successful candidate will collaborate with other technical teams to integrate GIS data with organizational operations, ensuring accurate representation and analysis of geospatial information.
· Minimum of 5 years of experience in GIS in GIS using ArcGIS 10.
X, covering piping, electrical, mechanical and civil works.
 · Proficient in GIS software such as ESRI ArcGIS, QGIS, and other related technologies.
Experience with remote sensing and GPS technologies is a plus.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to work with large datasets and transform them into actionable insights.
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present complex information in an understandable manner.
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· A Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Environmental Science, or relevant certifications in GIS is a plus.
Certificate in GIS or computerized graphics.
Certification in Software (ArcGlS) including GIS analysis, mapping and information retrieval.
