Job description
Job Purpose:
To carry out the cleaning, maintenance, and emptying of sewage and septic tanks in a safe, hygienic, and efficient manner while adhering to company protocols and UAE health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform manual and equipment-assisted cleaning of sewage and septic tanks.
- Operate suction vehicles (vacuum tankers) to remove waste materials.
- Ensure safe disposal of collected waste at approved disposal sites.
- Follow all safety procedures including use of PPE (personal protective equipment).
- Inspect tanks and report any damage or blockages.
- Assist the team in connecting and handling hoses, pumps, and covers.
- Maintain cleanliness of tools, equipment, and vehicle used for sewage operations.
- Complete assigned jobs on time and follow supervisor instructions.
- Report incidents or hazards immediately to the supervisor.
