Summary:
BK Gulf LLC is looking for Senior QA/QC Engineer with extensive experience in MEP and a proven track record in Data Center projects to join our team.
Job Responsibility:
1. Develop and implement QA/QC procedures specific to MEP installations in Data Center projects.
2. Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and standards.
3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
4. Review and approve project documentation including drawings, test reports, and quality control plans.
5. Provide technical support and guidance to project teams on QA/QC requirements and best practices.
6. Coordinate with third-party inspections and audits to ensure project quality standards are met.
7. Manage non-conformances and implement preventive and corrective measures to prevent reoccurrence.
8. Participate in project meetings and provide updates on QA/QC progress and challenges.
Candidate Requirements:
1. UAE/MOFA attested Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
2. Minimum of 8 years of experience in QA/QC roles with a focus on MEP installations in Data Center projects.
3. Strong knowledge of international standards and codes related to MEP installations.
4. Experience in developing and implementing QA/QC processes and procedures.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Certification in QA/QC is a plus.
8. Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
Extensive knowledge of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems and processes
2. Strong understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles
3. Experience in managing QA/QC processes and procedures in a construction setting
4. Familiarity with relevant industry standards and codes (e.g. ASME, ASTM, NFPA)
5. Ability to conduct inspections, tests, and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements
6. Proficiency in using QA/QC tools and software for documentation and reporting
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with project teams and stakeholders
8. Problem-solving abilities and attention to detail for identifying and resolving quality issues
9. Leadership skills to oversee QA/QC teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives
10. Certification in QA/QC or relevant field is a plus
