We are looking for a Senior QA Engineer / QA Lead with strong experience in Banking and Payments applications .
The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in test planning, test case design, functional testing, API testing, and end-to-end test execution for enterprise-grade financial systems.
Candidates with exposure to core banking, cards & payments, transaction systems, or financial platforms will be highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed Test Plans, Test Scenarios, and Test Cases Execute functional, integration, regression, system, and UAT testing Validate banking/payment workflows and transaction processing systems Perform API testing using Postman/REST Assured/SOAP tools Conduct backend validation using SQL queries Work closely with Business Analysts, Developers, and Product teams Identify, track, and manage defects using JIRA or similar tools Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA governance activities Support production validation and root cause analysis Ensure overall product quality and release readiness Required Skills 7+ years of QA experience in Banking / Financial Services domain Strong experience in: Test Planning Test Case Design & Execution Functional Testing Regression Testing API Testing SQL/Database Validation Experience working on: Core Banking Cards & Payments Transaction Processing Systems Financial Platforms Hands-on experience with: Postman / REST Assured / SOAP UI JIRA / Azure DevOps SQL Queries Good understanding of SDLC/STLC and Agile methodology Preferred Skills Automation testing experience using Selenium/Java/TestNG Experience with Vision PLUS, Finacle, Temenos, or payment systems Exposure to Kafka/event-driven systems is an advantage Experience in UAT coordination and stakeholder communication Preferred Candidate Profile Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and stakeholder management Ability to work independently in fast-paced environments Experience in enterprise banking or financial product environments preferred
