POSITION: Senior Mechanical Engineer - DAS Island WORK LOCATION: Das Island SALARY: 10,000AED to 15,000AED (depending on experience and qualifications) + Food + Transportation + Accommodation RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and manage mechanical construction activities at site including piping, static and rotating equipment.
Ensure all works comply with ADNOC specifications, safety standards, and project quality requirements.
Coordinate with HSE, QA/QC, planning, and subcontractors for smooth execution.
Review and approve method statements, ITPs, and technical submissions.
Participate in progress meetings, interface with clients and consultants.
Support hydrotesting, flushing, and pre-commissioning activities.
Prepare red-line/as-built drawings and support final handover documentation.
Lead and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering (mandatory).
ADNOC approval as Senior Mechanical Engineer (MANDATORY) Minimum 8 years UAE experience in mechanical construction (oil & gas projects preferred).
Prior offshore experience, especially on DAS Island or similar ADNOC offshore fields, is a strong advantage.
Solid understanding of ADNOC specifications, permit-to-work systems, and construction safety.
Valid offshore certifications (BOSIET/HUET) preferred.
