We are hiring a MEP Engineer (Mechanical) High rise buildingin Abu Dhabi.


Job purpose


·Responsible for delivery, coordination, and oversight of all mechanical systems on site.


·Ensure HVAC, chilled water, plumbing, LPG and fire protection systems meet design and programme requirements.


·Act as coordination lead for the mechanical interfaces across trades.


Key Responsibilities


·Review mechanical shop drawings including ductwork, piping layouts, and plantroom arrangements.


·Monitor installation of HVAC systems, chilled water networks, plumbing, and fire protection.


·Coordinate with electrical and civil teams for integrated delivery.


·Manage subcontractors and monitor progress against programme.


·Identify coordination issues early and implement solutions.


·Support testing and commissioning of all mechanical systems.


·Coordinate authority approvals including ADDC, Tabreed, etc inspections.


·Ensure QA/QC compliance and close-out of snags and NCRs.


·Maintain accurate site records and support handover documentation.


·Ensure adherence to HSE standards.




Skills & Competencies


·Strong understanding of HVAC and mechanical building systems.


·Coordination and interface management capability.


·Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.


·Proactive and structured approach to problem-solving on site.


·Knowledge of Abu Dhabi authority processes preferred.


Qualifications & Experience


·Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.


·10-12 years’ experience with a main contractor.


·Experience delivering residential buildings including basement levels, podium/ground floors, approximately 8–10 upper floors, and roof-level MEP plant is preferred.
